not quite, that movie was more about shock value whereas the book is much more informative and educational. very similar subject matter obviously, but the book encompasses all fast food and different facets of western culture, as opposed to the movie which basically honed in on McDonald's only. if you liked that movie you'd find the book to be quite interesting indeed

I'll try it if I can find it in our local bookstores... It's hard to find books here, plus they're really expensive..

I saw the movie and it was pretty entertaining though very drastic so not that relevant to real people. That book is probably better. Also right now I am reading Grapes of Wrath. I'm trying to read a bunch of classic books. I just finished the Fountainhead a few days ago.
